Ports of the island of Groix

The small ports of Port-Lay and Saint-Nicolas, diametrically opposed are only three kilometers away! Port Lay is said to be the smallest port in Europe and hosts the International Island Film Festival (FIFIG) at the end of August and then the World Sculling Championship at the beginning of September. Port Saint-Nicolas is worth it, because it can only be reached on foot. Its particularity: the Rocher de la Vache located in the middle.

We should also mention Port-Tudy where you will have disembarked. Tourist Office, a few shops, bars and bike rental companies… It is the strategic point of the island with Le Bourg.

To give you an idea, the Hotel de la Marine is at:

• less than 15 minutes on foot and 5 minutes by bike from Port-Lay

• 30 minutes on foot and 10 minutes by bike from Port-Saint-Nicolas
